Mesamche Lev just completed its largest project of the year, the annual Pesach distribution. This year’s event reached over 15,000 families in Israel and the United States. The impact was incredible.

Families that struggle to put bread on the table enjoyed meat, dairy products and matzah for the holiday. Widows making Pesach alone got large checks for clothing or anything else they needed.

Torah scholars who live on a bare-bones budget got coupons to help them shop for clothing. Children whose shoes were outgrown and worn got new shoes.

All this is incredible – but when you consider the sheer scope of our work, the effect is breathtaking. Take the shoes.

Mesamche Lev distributed new shoes to 28,000 children. How much is that? Twenty eight thousand kids would fill 438 school buses - a line that would stretch three miles long! The other numbers are similarly impressive.
