In his sefer Refuah V’Chaim, the saintly mekubal, Rabbi Chaim Palagi (1788 – 1869) offers powerful advice for the sick: donate meat to the poor.
“One should take meat and donate it to the poor… it is good to donate [the meat] to poor Torah scholars.
The pasuk says: they shall slaughter - sacrifices for charity – and be confident in Hashem, that they will experience relief and salvation.”

for example:A person weighing 100lb.should donate 100lb. of meat for poor families.
